I'm sorry my posts have been so infrequent lately, but with finals starting I've been pretty busy. I've also been reading a lot of books, mainly Song for the Basilisk, A Language Older Than Words and, starting yesterday, The Wyvern's Spur.
I'm not as depressed today, although I'm still sleeping too much. I really hope all of you are doing well. And if some of you aren't, don't worry--I'm sure your fortunes will change soon (forgive me for sounding like a fortune cookie).
Oh yeah--finals. I have to write three essays in six days, which works out fine because I only have to write half an essay a day. So, that won't be too hard. I'm pretty sure I'll get an A- in the class because my finals will be kind of hurried, but it's my first college class so I think that's pretty good. I need to stop my perfectionism when it comes to school, and that's what I'm trying to do.
I recommend all the books I mentioned. Two are fantasy, with Song for the Basilisk being, in my opinion, very artistic, beautiful and basically perfect, and The Wyvern's Spur being hilarious and very entertaining (unfortunately it's out of print, but I managed to find a copy).
Anyway, I'm rambling. I'll make an entry with some quotes from A Language Older Than Words next, if I have time. This is amazing--it's not even 10:00 my time and I'm already sleepy. Well, I hope everyone is doing okay, like I said, and that you all have a good weekend.
