Don't hesitate to do this. [May. 5th, 2006|06:59 am]
Amanda
How many times has someone on your friends list posted about something and you were really confused, but you didn't want to ask because you knew you SHOULD know?
How many times have you felt 'guilty' asking a close LJ friend a question that should be 'obvious'?

Well, here's your chance. If you've missed a few things, or if I've been unclear about something, ask me about it here.
(Even if it isn't obvious--ask of ANYTHING. Really.)

well, I've been sooo busy so I've missed a LOT of things, so just give me a quick run-down on the Ari thing and why you're going to um, Kean did I spell that right? Prolly not. Just, yeah, update me.

Certainly! (this is probably gonna be long, lol).
In February, Ari and I really got serious about my moving out to NJ this year, rather than 2007. Not only is our long-distance relationship getting more emotionally painful the more attached to each other we get, but things haven't been going so well at home and I don't think another year here would do me much good. Also, I only need six more classes before I graduate from community college anyway, so...why not just transfer a little early?

So yeah...Ari's graduating from high school this year (he's nine months younger than me and I graduated way early anyway). He's trying to get into Kean University, since it's close and affordable and established, and offers good degrees. Also, its bookstore is a B&N, which means my manager can transfer me there. So, I applied to Kean in mid-February, went through a whoooooooole bunch of admissions errors and crap, and finally got accepted a while back.
That pretty much sealed the fact that I'm moving out there on the 16th. I'd ordered round-trip tickets last year, so I could go to Ari's prom on the 19th and also see him graduate. Now it turns out I won't be needing the ticket back to CA, since his family's been kind enough to let me stay there the whole summer, and work and get established before I start at Kean in the fall.

Soooo...yeah. I hope this clears stuff up for you. I've noticed there've been several gaps in my telling of this anyway--I have a bad habit of forgetting to mention things I already know. But, yay!! Moving there in nine days!! :)
