Ack... [Feb. 28th, 2007|07:22 pm]

[Current Mood |bouncybouncy]

Even though I've changed my Livejournal e-mail address from Yahoo to my school (and added LJ to my address book), I still am not getting comment notification e-mails! Hence: 1) GRRR!, and 2) if I don't get back to replies of comments I've left in other peoples' journals, that's why. There's literally no possible way to find and keep track of them without e-mail.
Also, it is fairly easy to read ones people have left in minuetcat. However, I haven't had the time to answer those quite yet. I want to though, and I have read them and do appreciate them! Soon, once things smooth out.

Also also: it feels like SPRING outside! Spring never felt like this in California. There, it was more like a feeling of "damnit, here we go again...another nine months of heat sickness...". Here it's like, "oooo! No more being shut indoors! Look, the trees are budding, life hath returned and I must celebrate!". Everything feels like a holiday. I want to just walk and walk and walk and breathe it all in. I'm even contemplating going over to some random space-endowed place to practice martial arts...it's that kinda night. It's the night for action and adventure!!

There's spring, but it's like a month-long transition from the cool, wet winters into the hot-as-heck, 8-month-long summers. So when the spring comes, pretty soon after it's time to cry :P
But yeah, SF's cooler--misty and rainy nearly all the time. The San Francisco Bay gives some nice weather conditions just about any time (and, to some extent, the Monterey Bay too). It would be a great place to live if it weren't for all the people and buildings crammed on top of each other that one must share space with...can you tell I'm a forest person, lol?

If you love the city, then you'll love San Francisco!

Not sure if this is that much help, but over at http://www.livejournal.com/tools/recent_comments.bml you can see comments posted in your journal at the top of the page, and then scroll down and see links to comments you've posted lately in other journals - so there is some way to go look at them. :)

Are you sure they're not being treates as spam or anything, though? Did you get the validation e-mails?

I wish it felt more like spring here. I'm only now thinking, "Okay, February and -22°F weathers are over, maybe now I can start resurrecting my ice skating hobby..."

Thank-you! So much! I'd never scrolled down enough to actually see that portion of the page. I guess that problem is solved now :P
And yeah, I got the validations. I also added the LJ notification addresses to my address books in both e-mails, and still nothing. There's been nothing since October :(
