Huzzah, they're all posted!

Ari and my dad, looking for gold near Sutter's Mill.

Now we're looking a bit harder...I felt like a dwarf, sparked to passion by the glint of gold and silver. Dwarves would love California...they would make mining cities as glorious as Moria was in its heyday.

Amtrak's safety booklets prepare you for any situation: if you're ambushed by creepy deformed midgets while on an escalator, they tell you exactly what to do.

The Creepy Deformed Midget Syndrome is highly contagious. If your child shows signs of this dangerous illness, kindly escort him off the train using the closest emergency exit. It is dangerous to exit a moving train, so please watch your step.

But, in actuality, it's a roommette...and it made for quite a fun trip (besides the not-being-able-to-sleep-in-a-noisy/rocking-train thing).

Hehe...when your roomette's as small and jolty as this, you've gotta make "adjustments".

Thanks! I'm surprised my camera got them so well. The Monterey Bay Aquarium has done nothing but improve since I was last there. All the species there are native to the area...it's pretty neat to think of all them out there.

cool pictures

Seems like your going all over the place. I'd love to be able to do a trip like that but I dont think we have the time or money. I was going to ask you about those surveys you talked about a while back? The ones that give you money?

Re: cool pictures

Well for one stop, Sutter's Mill is only an hour from Roseville...and it's free! It was pretty neat to hike out there and see all that gold...you could easily make a day trip.
And Amtrak wasn't too bad either. About $1000 for a round trip with both of us, with room and board included for two of the three days.

And what questions do you have about them, in specific? There are two links on my user info and if you'd like to join more sites than that, I'm a member of at least ten others. Let me know if you want me to send you the referral links. The free offers pay well for a long time, and once you've done all of them you can always rely on the daily surveys and such to supplement your income. It works out pretty nicely.
