Minuet problem [Nov. 7th, 2003|04:52 pm]

[Current Mood |confusedconfused]

I have a problem--Minuet keeps attacking the other cats in our house. Months ago I worked it out so that if she attacked anyone, she would go into her room. But now that she's figured that out, she attacks the other cats only when she's tired of being out and then walks into her room herself. And yesterday this problem got so bad that she had one of the cats cornered.
What should I do? Does anyone know of any kind ways I can get her to stop attacking the other cats? Any personal experiences with this problem? Any advice would be a big help.

Thanks for trying--yeah, I posted it in one animal community, and I think I've found a solution that might work. I could put her back before she gets tired of being out. I really hope it works!

does she noramlly get bored after a specific amount of time? perhaps letting her out for an hour, then putting her back for an hour, then letting her out again for awhile, will work. or something like that. another idea is letting her out for awhile, then maybe in mama's room (i know she likes it in there, but i'm not sure if she can be in there unsupervized), then out again for awhile, then back in the room. i dunno.

Thanks a lot--that's a great idea. I'll try that today.
