|Yet another book recommendation...

The Teenage Liberation Handbook by Grace Llewellyn is great. It's about the horrors of the public school system, and how to get away from them and still have a very successful future.
Personally I can relate to this book a lot because I couldn't stand high school, became home-schooled, graduated at 16 (with the help of the Certificate of Proficiency), and am now working towards my Associate's degree. I only have three units so far from summer, but I'd rather get a head start than be stuck in high school for seven hours a day. It's much better, in my opinion. Anyway, I'm rambling. I highly recommend this book for anyone who's interested.
In other news, I just got back from Katalina's. She got her ten-day pass to the gym and then we worked out there for a while. And do you know what I've found out? I'm really out of shape! Then we went to her house (she's allergic to our pets so, alas, she can't come here), played with dolls at our old elementary school (yes, dolls! It was fun), and then watched a hilarious soap opera. Then I came home and had some Chinese food, and here I am! It's been a great day.
