School [Aug. 20th, 2003|11:45 am]
[Current Mood |dorkydorky]

I'm at college right now in between classes. So far, my PE class is great, and although I haven't been to ecology yet, I'm assuming that this is a good as well. Especially considering that Crystal is in it as well. I'm off to that one in 15 minutes.
Anyway, I appreciate everybody who has given me help with my title lately and given me feedback on that paragraph--I really appreciate it.
Oh yeah, and I was able to sell back my Psych. book for the huge amount of $19! I paid $70 for it and it was hardly used, but I guess that they just pay a certain percentage of the price.
And my financial aid was accepted--I'm not surprised, but glad to not have to pay for it. Even at community college, prices are very high. Now all that's left is the price of my books.
Anyway, I hope you're all doing well and having a good day.

Thanks--yeah, I'm really amazed about that as well. I didn't expect to pass that test, although I'm very sure you could as well. Yeah, I am having a good time--college is much better than high school.
I'm still staying at my mom's house, since it's 15 minutes away from the college and I'd rather not leave.
Good luck, and enjoy the rest of your vacation!

Unfortunately, the situation you described is the norm in regards to college textbooks. Unless you can find a cheap used one somehow, expect to pay way too much for the book when you buy it, and get back way too little for it when you sell it back.
Glad to hear you like your classes!

Yeah, I completely agree with you. The ecology book is over $100, so we just checked it out of the library. And books like that usually go for $60 at the most when they're not considered "textbooks".
