A very strange dream [Sep. 1st, 2003|11:55 am]
[Current Mood |weirdweird]

I had a dream that Iwas taking Psychology over again, and for some reason it was in San Jose. Mama couldn't get over there in time to drive me home, so she left me the car and told me to drive it. I was trying to explain that I didn't know how to drive and didn't even have a permit, but she said it would be easy and left (which is something Mama would never do in real life). So when I was done at class, I found Crystal waiting by the car asking me to drive her home. But the car wouldn't start, and Crystal said that I had to fill up one of the tires at Live Oak High School, where they had a pump.
So I walked past miles of old colonial houses until I got to Live Oak, where they were having a Halloween party. Cheryle was there and I told her that I needed to find a pump so I could get home. She took me to an administrator and he told me that I had to wait until the party was over to use the pump. So I took the tire and sat down in the audience with Cheryle.
The party consisted of an hour of commercials in which the Live Oak kids had been in, and the presentation was really boring. The party favors were plants, and I knew that if I planted them in my yard they would die. The administrator finally said I could use the pump, so I said goodbye to Cheryle and went to fix the tire. I was sad because Cheryle said she couldn't come over because she was afraid she would step on Sebastian, the African Grey's, foot. But I agreed that she shouldn't come over if the would happen.
The pump said it needed $2.50 to work, so I put the change in. But it told me that I couldn't use it because I was a spoiled brat and always ran from danger. So I walked back up to San Jose found Crystal, and she told me that I had missed a Psychology party that was extra credit. It was a masquerade, so she had dressed as a red-tailed hawk. We called Mama, who said she was sorry and would come and pick us up somehow, and that was the end of the dream.

Does anyone have any interpretations?

I think it has something to do with responsibility, and maybe control. If I have any other ideas later on it I'll let you know.
I like my costume! I wish I knew how to really make one of those.
