Very strange dream about the rabbits... [Sep. 3rd, 2003|08:00 am]
[Current Mood |frustratedfrustrated]

I had a dream that I came out of my room and looked into the entryhall. There was a bear hiding behind the front door. I wasn't afraid of her, but I was afraid that she would come into the living room and eat the rabbits. So I chased her away, and she ran up the fireplace.
I knew she would come back, so I decided to block the fireplace so the bunnies would be safe. I went and got blankets out of my room and nailed them to the wall, and while I was doing that a bear cub ran out of the fireplace to where Cassy lay. I ran to them and chased the bear up the fireplace and nailed up the entrance.
When I was done I knew that I couldn't sleep, because if I did the bear would come back for Cassy. So I stayed in the room, watching the fireplace. And suddenly a big figure was behind the blankets, trying to get into the room, and I knew the blankets would not hold out forever. And then I woke up.

This is a very symbolic dream. I think it means we are trying to prevent death (or the bears) from getting to Cassy and taking her away, but no matter what we try to do to cover death up, it keeps finding a way to get back to her. I feel frustrated right now, and this is probably a result of this very sad and frustrating dream. Oh well. I hope everyone has a good day, and I will if Cassy accompanies us into tomorrow. She has been drinking water from a dropper, by the way. I hope this is a good sign.

Yeah, it was very strange. And REALLY scary. Oh well. The dream's over now, and I've faced the issues that it presented.
And Cassy's a rabbit, by the way. I didn't really make that clear in the post.
