The only thing that really cheered me up was Ari suggesting he should call up the school and talk in falsetto and pretend he was me, cause they would never notice, and he can be veeeeery convincing, EVEN while talking in such a high voice...and all this time he was talking with a voice that closely resembled Mickey Mouse's. I couldn't NOT laugh...|
Then later on, he started quacking like a duck and saying "I love you" and such with the quacks...and he does that scarily well and it made me feel better again.
Why such silly things work, I really have no idea. And I know he really wouldn't be able to stand cheering up anyone but me as much as he does...
That, and calling Mama earlier. There are just some days that I REALLY need to hear my mother's voice....she's more soothing than anything. One week, and I will SEE her! AND "them" (ie, The Family)!
PS: [oh and yes, I do talk about Ari tons in here. he's a big part of my life. if this pisses you off, it's my journal and you don't have to read it!]
Aww he's awesome at cheering you up. And I love your mom's voice lol :)
Aww yes, her voice is so LOVELY! And I know that when I need her, she's there...it feels selfish, but on days I REALLY need her, I guess I should take advantage of this.
And yes he is! I can't believe how awesome he is at it. Usually it's just saying helpful/supportive things, or pointing out things that are good...but the VOICES! How on earth did he know that those would help so much yesterday? lol.
Yeah, you're a "them".
Yes! Meant in endearing terms, of course, hence the quotes...and also, to give me an excuse to say "The Family" and find out if anyone noticed the reference (which, thankfully, no one did!).
Yes. I'm weird. And also excited!!
Yay, you're endeared to me! ...or something.
Awwwh...you're no fun anymore.
