Hi. It's me, Ari, just typing for a bit as Amanda and I write this together. She's cleaning her glasses now and commenting on how fast I type.
Anyhoo...prom was last night. We did a lot of promming. That's walking, for those of you who don't have a good sense of romance languages.
I'm afraid that we don't yet have the photos available to post, but they may very well be up tomorrow.
I was correct, as usual, in my predictions. We were the best dressed couple there, as well as one of the happiest; Amanda was the only girl not to do her hair, wear heels, do her nails, or wear makeup, and I love her all the more for it; they did play pretty lousy music, too. Amanda agrees.
Were were, however, able to escape into the well-tended gardens, and walked for a fair amount. My boots and her flats were a lot better suited for the terrain than some of the heels other girls were wearing. We were always hearing them complaining about having to walk on the grass.
Everybody was keen to meet Amanda. It was a lot of fun showing her off. Yet again, everybody loved Amanda. People waited until she came out of the ladies' room just to get a chance to see her.
My arm is starting to hurt, so I'm letting Amanda take over here.
Hi! I'm Amanda!!
Prom was emotional, and Ari looked just like Chris Bailey...hottttttt. And most of his classmates were nerds...yay! We need more of them in the world. Ari's saying that several good ones are available if any of you want to meet somebody ;)
Ari just said I'm soooo beautiful :)
P.S.: We went to the park and Ari's lovely Aunt, Risa, and witty father, Gene, took lots of gorgeous pictures of us. Ari's family combined their assets to produce WhitCo Limosine Service, and the service then proceeded to get a bit lost, along with the rest of us. Ari's lovely mother, Ellen, looks great in her leather cap and black coat!
I can't believe how great those pictures look. We look soooo damn good. And no, I'm not being conceited...just....ooooooooooooo.
