Fallen off the face of the Intranets... [Jul. 8th, 2006|07:46 am]
Yes I know...I haven't updated in five days. There hasn't been a single spare moment, nor is there now. Cause yeah, it's time to go out again. Won't be back here until late. Sunday will be packed, so Monday I'll update, perhaps? I've got a whole list of things to write about.
I haven't forgotten about you, but I also haven't had time to spend here (or anywhere else, for that matter). Being busy is great, but this aspect of it upsets me.
The job is going well and I'm thankful to have it. Ari is too, and so is his family. Just...busyness.

I'll see you soon let's hope. I miss you people. I also miss these entries.

Face it Amanda, you're not an internet person anymore.

You went and *gasp* got a life!

Stop apologizing for it, recognize that you have priorities, and live them.

Thank you, Palmer. It helps a lot to hear that. Though, I'm still racked with guilt by the fact that I've got a life. I'm hoping I'll be able to at least keep in touch with everybody so I won't have to feel this guilty about it. Let's hope I'll start up again now.

You know what you do?
Set yourself some time for keeping in touch with people. Like an hour on the weekend.

Cut your LJ list down to the bare minimum. You have 94 people on there. And 26 communities. How many are you actually in contact with? How many have you drifted from?
You could probably cut it down to 5 or 10. Something you could keep up with only reading an hour or two a week.

Shift your primary contact from LJ and chat to email. Email is easy to keep up with, even daily.

Getting a life is a good thing. Never feel guilty for taking care of yourself.
