Test [Sep. 15th, 2003|04:40 pm]
[Current Mood |draineddrained]

Yikes--I found out today that we have an Ecology test on Friday. So I spent the last two hours studying for it. I stopped when I couldn't bear to read another word out of that textbook, and that's saying a lot. I love that subject. So, I hope I'll do okay on it. Tonight I plan to study vocabulary (there's a whole section devoted to it on the test), and if I have time, quiz myself.
Oh yeah, and LJ has been down. I hope this entry will go through all right. If it doesn't, at least rewriting it will give me something to do.
And I've started to read "The Lord of the Rings" for the seventh time. I can't believe I've read it more than "The Silmarillion", which in my opinion is better. Not to put down LOTR--I love those books. But "The Silmarillion" is about as close as anything can come to perfection. I don't know how Tolkien managed to write it.
Anyway, if you haven't read "The Silmarillion", I highly recommend it. It can be confusing the first time you read it (there are so many names), but I'm sure you'll want to read it again after that. And if you haven't read LOTR yet, read it first. Both are wonderful books, and I highly recommend them.

Life can be such a struggle sometimes--you know, just to get through the day. Especially school days. They're so draining. Anyway, if I get into it I'll have a whole page devoted to the subject. So I hope everyone's days have been better than mine--the only bright point has been reading the prologue to LOTR. Wonderful book. Did I already say that? Oh well.

I have noticed that lj has been acting quirky the last couple of weeks. It does that from time to time. But i hope now that you have a paid account, it's working like like it should.

I've noticed that too. But yeah, it is working better now.
