"And if I had my way I'd make the clock rewind I'd live again that moment Though I know I'll never find The future that I missed A parallel line Where the world would be so bright That it could make us all go blind And if I had my day There's so much I'd reclaim The sanctity of motion The neverending rain The cardinal directions All pointing to the past Where realities converge And for a moment, we're the same..."
We watched The Fellowship of the Ring as a family last night...it had been ages since I saw it last and it seems everyone enjoyed it. After reading those books as a kid I'd come to the conclusion that a movie representation would never happen, as it would be nearly impossible to film so much of the things in that book. So considering the movie-making seemed impossible to me in the first place, it's a wonder that the film not only could be made, but made well, in a way that was fairly true to Tolkien's book. Sure they changed some things and left a lot out, but they still managed to make three GREAT movies out of it. Not too shabby. Anyway...
I hope you all had a fruitful and enjoyable 2007 and, if you didn't, here's to a fresh new number you can write when you fill in the date someplace: 2008!
Here's wishing you good luck and many blessings for the year to come. |
