I'm back from the trip--it was nice to spend time with my grandma, and Daddy and Linda. We stayed at my father's house, and went to a quilt show. There was this quilt there called Stained Glass that was an absolute masterpiece, and I'm not a big fan of quilts. Anyway, it had strips of dark green, blue, black, and purple going in all different directions and at all different widths. Very beautiful (although it may not sound like it from this description).
And I learned something from this trip--I'm scared of Hwy 152. It's beautiful, but I'll never drive there myself. You have to make countless sharp turns going at high speeds, and still keep inside the lines, something I know I won't be able to do.
I can't wait until Halloween!
Everyone here is sick (except me). On Friday Julian kept throwing up. I hope they all get better soon. I thought I could hook up the TV in my room to the VCR out here so we could watch movies on a TV and a VCR that work, but when my dad installed the cable he screwed it on so tight that I can't even get it off with a wrench. I guess I'll pay the money to get a new TV, because we're desperate to watch some movies. Anyway, Mama tried too and couldn't get it off either. Frustrating, and kind of comical in a sad sort of way. Like the story of the pineapple tin. Anyway, if you don't know what I'm talking about, try not to worry about it.
Anyway, I'm off to read as many friends' entries as I can before dinner. I'll try to get to as many as I can. I hope everyone had a good weekend!
