|RotK, and good times with friends

Hey everyone, I saw The Return of the King last night! On the whole, I thought it was great. There were a few major discrepancies, however, mainly that it was so dramatically different from Tolkien's books, and that this difference was usually unneccessary. But I'll say no more, except that I cried at the end.
Having read the series seven times, it was great (although also sad) to see it end. The books make me cry all the time, because I have become so tied up in this story after so many years of...hmm...almost being a part of it, I could say.
Anyway, I would highly recommend you all see this movie, but beware: if you have read the books, you may be a little disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised, though, after having expected a lot worse.
I saw this movie with my best friends (except Katalina. I'm sorry, Kat! We'll see it soon! I'll call you about it today!), namely John, Greg, and Matt. Oh, and Heather's my best friend too, but she couldn't come.
But anyway, it was the most fun I've had in a long time. I had forgotten how happy being in the company of friends made me. I actually feel understood when I'm with them. After seeing the movie in SJ, we went to get pizza, then went to Longs, and then it was after 8:00 so we went home. Anyway, yesterday was great.
Oh, I don't know if I'll get through two days of friends' entries today, but I'll do my best.
Happy Christmas Eve-Eve, everybody!
